Location:
Teepee Creek, Alberta is a small farming community, approximately 50 km northwest of Grande Prairie and 22 km east of Sexsmith. The school is located on Range Road 34 in Teepee Creek. The community is well known for its annual Teepee Creek Stampede.

Grades:
Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Kindergarten students attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays (full days). Junior Kindergarten students attend school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 12:40 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.  

Special features:
A modernization project included the addition of a new library, administration office, kitchen, and modular classrooms, along with renovations to the existing gymnasium, classrooms and exterior finishing. The Teepee Creek Skating Arena provides access to an indoor ice surface, available to the school during the winter months. 

Programs:
Instructional time is 5.5 hours per day. Teepee Creek School runs a compressed school week resulting in an organization base of nine school days per two week block rather than the five school days per one week block.

The school offers special programs that include speech pathology services, counseling, early literacy intervention, and individual classroom project program. Students also participate in extracurricular activities, including sports, year-end junior high trip and cultural events.

Each day begins with Tech-Free Time (TFT) and a healthy snack. Wireless technology is accessed through Chromebooks, iPads and laptops. French is offered to Grades 4-8 students. Option courses are available to Grades 7-8 students. Students have many opportunities to enhance their learning through school activities, presentations and field trips.

An active parent group organized the construction of a new playground facility for all to enjoy. Many parents participate in the School Council meetings. 

Sports:
Teepee Creek Mustangs compete in volleyball, basketball, badminton and other activities, as interests dictate.
